Coach 1941 Spring 2018 Dual Collection

Coach 1941 unveiled their Spring 2018 dual collection yesterday, Tuesday 12th September, during NYFW.

The show took place at Basketball City, Stuart Vevers’ teamed with Stefan Beckman to create a spectacular glittery set filled with New York roof tops, antique cars and mailboxes. Noted inspirations were : Lou Reed, Curt Cobain, Patti Smith and The New York Dolls, photographer: Robert Mapplethorpe and  writer: William Burroughs.

The Coach guy is a lot darker from previous seasons with music, art and literature being a strong inspiration. Within the men’s collection Coach icons have been a focus; the Biker Jacket, tees, M65, varsity jackets and sneakers.

This was paired with the Coach girl who is feminine, beautiful with a darker, un-precious individual style. Denim is a relatively new introduction to Coach, customized in a ‘disco-prairie’ style to give a definitive fashion style.
