Crombie Coats now stocked in Luxury Department Store Harrods

Luxury British heritage brand Crombie is delighted to announce that its coats are now stocked in one of the UK’s most prestigious department stores, Harrods.

Harrods began stocking Crombie in October this year. They are stocking a range of Crombie coats including a black 100% cashmere Classic Greatcoat by Crombie, with real horn buttons, retailing at £2,000 and currently available exclusively within that store. The product is described as “a contemporary topcoat inspired by military coats from the Crombie archive … The ultimate dress coat, in one of the heaviest, most luxurious cashmeres produced anywhere in the world ….”. The Crombie range available in Harrods has been such a success with their customers that they have already re-ordered twice to replenish stocks, and Harrods are expected to stock Crombie again in Autumn/Winter 2011.

Michael Rankine, Head of Retail at Crombie, said ‘Crombie is thrilled to be stocked in Harrods and received so well with their discerning customers. We see expanding our offering within the UK as a key part of our growth strategy’

As part of the company’s online growth strategy, Crombie re-launched its much improved ecommerce website http://www.crombie.co.uk/  in November.
